About
Janet Jacobsen
Janet Jacobsen is president of Interpersonal Enterprises,
Inc., founded in 1975 in Scottsdale, Arizona. She earned her doctorate
in interpersonal communication at Arizona State University, researching
miscommunication in male/female conversations.
Janet has presented over 500 seminars and speeches,
primarily on communication-related topics, and has taught communication
courses at Arizona State University for 8 years. Her research has resulted
in more than 20 scholarly conference papers and published studies.
She has extensive writing and publishing experience,
including more than 30 years in singles publishing, and writing on communication
and other topics for regional and national publications. Over the years
she has been interviewed by dozens of print and broadcast media across
the U.S. and Canada, including Cosmopolitan magazine and CBS national
news.
